Immersive experience of provincial-level high schools in China

In September 1948, shortly after the flames of the Battle for the Liberation of Jinan had died down, the Party and the government, in order to quickly stabilize the newly liberated city and cultivate talents for the construction of the new China, decided to establish the "Jinan Special Municipality Municipal No. 2 Middle School." The school was founded based on the faculty of the Second Temporary Middle School of Jinan, which had a strong academic foundation, and used the campus of the First Temporary Middle School as its base. This marked the origin of Shandong Experimental High School. On October 18, 1948, the Municipal No. 2 Middle School officially opened and began classes at its location on Xiaowei 4th Road, Jingliu Road (now the site of Jinan No. 3 High School). This date is regarded as the founding day of Shandong Experimental High School.
