Omotesando Illumination is a popular winter illumination event in Tokyo which takes place at the popular shopping street, Omotesando near Harajuku and Shibuya area. The 1.1 km street is lined with 150 Zelkova trees which are lightened up with approx 900,000 LED lights in champagne gold colour during Christmas season. From Omotesando Station to Harajuku Station, the long shopping street has two pedestrian bridges where the iconic view of the illuminated street can be captured.
