Indonesia Lake Toba-a walk around Tuk Tuk

Lake Toba, the world's largest volcanic lake, is a spectacular natural wonder located in Sumatra, Indonesia. The main tourist hub is the small peninsula of Tuktuk, which is nestled on Samosir Island in the middle of the lake. To reach Tuktuk, you take a scenic ferry ride across the expansive lake from the mainland town of Parapat.
Lake Toba is a in the caldera of the Toba supervolcano. It is at an altitude of 900 meters. The Toba caldera is a UNESCO Global Geopark.
