Ride Astana's newly opened driverless Light Metro in immersive 360° 8K VR, captured just weeks after its launch in May 2026.
Experience a ride on Astana's brand-new Light Metro, filmed in June 2026, just weeks after the system officially opened to passengers.

This automated driverless light metro began operation on May 16, 2026, becoming the first urban light rail system in Central Asia and one of the newest public transport networks in the world. The 22.4 km line connects Astana International Airport, the city center, and Nurly Zhol Railway Station through 18 stations.

No music. No commentary.

Just the authentic sounds of the train, stations, passengers, doors, and the city moving around you.

Unlike traditional underground metros, most of Astana's Light Metro runs on elevated tracks, offering unique views of Kazakhstan's futuristic capital. The project spent years under construction before finally opening in 2026, making this ride a glimpse into a new chapter of Astana's history.

Shot on Insta360 X5 in 360° 8K for maximum immersion.

Raw sound. Real places. Real moments.
