A new border crossing has been added in the area

This is the Chľaba – Szob pedestrian border crossing, which connects the Slovak village of Chľaba with the Hungarian town of Szob. Interestingly, it runs directly over the confluence of the Ipeľ and Danube rivers, via a footbridge built onto the railway bridge. The crossing is open 24/7 and is designated exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists."
