Yosakoi is a dance performed in groups based on folk songs such as Yosakoi-bushi and Soran-bushi. It is the representative dance of the Yosakoi Festival, which began in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture during the postwar recession.Comprised of students from universities, junior colleges, and vocational schools in Fukushima Prefecture
