Welcome to Molen De Put, one of the most iconic landmarks in Leiden. This beautiful windmill is located at the end of our 360° VR tour of the city center, and it\\\'s definitely worth the wait. Built in 1987, Molen De Put is a replica of an old mill that once stood on this very spot. It\\\'s a stunning example of Dutch engineering and design, and it\\\'s still in use today for grinding wheat and other grains.
As you approach the mill, you\\\'ll notice its impressive size and intricate design. The blades of the mill are nearly 25 meters in length, and they\\\'re made of wood to keep the traditional look and feel of the mill intact. The miller will be happy to show you around and explain how the mill works. You\\\'ll see the massive gears and cogs that transfer the power from the wind to the millstones, which grind the grain into flour. It\\\'s a fascinating process that has been used for centuries, and it\\\'s still used today to produce some of the best flour in the world.
Molen De Put is not just a functional mill, it\\\'s also a symbol of Leiden\\\'s rich history and culture. It\\\'s a place where locals and tourists alike can come together to appreciate the beauty and ingenuity of Dutch engineering. So, don\\\'t miss out on the chance to visit Molen De Put and witness its beauty for yourself. It\\\'s the perfect way to end our 360° VR tour of Leiden Center.
