Step into an immersive 8K 360° travel vlog at Takakkaw Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada’s Yoho National Park, near Banff, Alberta. Nikki and I took the short but scenic hike toward the falls, stopping just shy of the base to avoid the incredible spray. Even from a distance, the roaring cascade and mist-filled valley created an unforgettable view.

💧 Interesting Facts about Takakkaw Falls:

The waterfall drops an astonishing 373 meters (1,224 feet), with the main free-fall section measuring 254 meters (833 feet).

“Takakkaw” means “It is magnificent” in the Cree language — and it truly lives up to the name.

The falls are fed by meltwater from the Daly Glacier, part of the Waputik Icefield.

The flow is at its strongest in late June through August, when the glacier melt peaks.

The mist near the base can soak you instantly — a natural air conditioner on a hot day!

📸 Recorded on an Insta360 X5 in 8K immersive 360 VR, this travel vlog lets you experience Takakkaw Falls as if you were standing beside us on the trail. Explore, look around, and enjoy the beauty of Canada’s Rocky Mountains like never before.
