Experience an ordinary night in northern Xi’an that quickly turns into a series of unexpected encounters.

Ride through the city streets with me on an electric motorbike, surrounded by scooters, traffic, glowing storefronts and the authentic atmosphere of Xi’an after dark.

Along the way, I unexpectedly reconnect with a former colleague I had not seen since before COVID, ride alongside local motorcyclists, stop at a lively street-food area and meet a delivery rider whose scooter is decorated with several funny little puppies.

This is not a tourist attraction or a staged experience. It is a spontaneous look at everyday nightlife in Xi’an, China.
