NS 1080 Delaware & Hudson Heritage Unit on UP ZLAAI | VR180 8K | Shawmut, Arizona

After several weeks of tracking, planning, missed opportunities, and refining our intercept strategy, we finally caught the Delaware & Hudson heritage unit crossing the Arizona desert.

This video shows NS 1080 (Delaware & Hudson Heritage) operating on Union Pacific train ZLAAI, led by UP 2010, with NS 4059 trailing the heritage unit.

The train was photographed near Shawmut, Arizona, during the last light of civil twilight after a day of tracking across the Gila Subdivision. Light was fading quickly, but documenting the movement took priority over perfect lighting.

Recorded in Canon VR180 for immersive viewing in compatible VR headsets.
