The Lockheed D-21 is an American supersonic reconnaissance drone capable of speed Mach 3.3 and operational ceiling of 90,000feet. It by a RJ43-MA-11 Ramjet engine. The drone has a one way mission, it is to fly on a preprogrammed path, take pictures, eject the film cartridge to be picked up by a modified C130 while still in the air, then self destruct.
