Lake Ballard - Shire of Menzies/ Western Australia

Lake Ballard, a remote salt lake located approximately 150 km north of Kalgoorlie, is home to a striking 7-square-kilometre art installation. Our walk takes us across its shimmering, dry expanse, weaving past numerous haunting bronze sculptures, before reaching a small island. From its summit, we are rewarded with sweeping views and a beautiful desert sunset.
