The Shitamachi Tanabata Festival (also known as the Kappabashi Tanabata Festival) is a summer tradition held every July along Kappabashi-hondori Street, which connects the Ueno and Asakusa areas in Taito Ward, Tokyo.
During the festival, a variety of street performances and dance events take place.
