Have you ever looked up and watched 100,000 poems fall from the sky?
This was one of the most unforgettable moments I've ever experienced in Barcelona.
As the helicopter flew above Barcelona Cathedral, thousands of printed poems slowly drifted down over the Gothic Quarter, turning the entire city into a breathtaking rain of words.
Everyone stopped what they were doing.
People looked up, reached into the air, and waited to catch a poem of their own.
It wasn't loud.
It wasn't flashy.
It was simply beautiful.
What makes this event even more meaningful is its history.
Decades ago, this same neighborhood was bombed during the Spanish Civil War.
Today, instead of bombs, the sky is filled with poetry—a powerful symbol of peace, freedom, and remembrance.
I was lucky enough to catch one of the poems and take it home.
Sometimes the most unforgettable travel memories aren't the famous landmarks...
They're the unexpected moments you never saw coming.
