Fast ferry runs between Sweden and Rügen

The ferry connection between Rügen and Sweden, historically known as the Royal Line,
can look back on a 111-year history and when Stena Line, the previous operator, withdrew
in the wake of the Corona crisis, FRS Baltic stepped in.
From September 17th, 2020, FRS will start a new ferry connection between Germany from Sassnitz (Rügen) to
Ystad in Sweden.

FRS sets new standards with travel time: the catamaran only needs 2 hours and 30 minutes for
the route between Germany and Sweden. This will almost halve the previous travel time on the
so-called Royal Line to Sweden.
