Kronborg is a Danish Renaissance castle that has played an important role in the history of Scandinavia.
It is located on a headland about 500 meters northeast of the center of Elsinore on Zealand. In 2000,
the castle was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The castle is a popular tourist destination
and has approximately 200,000 visitors each year.
