Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.

셀레벤시스 세일핀리자드(Hydrosaurus celebensis)는 인도네시아 술라웨시 지역의 열대 우림과 강 주변에 서식하는 대형 도마뱀이다. 꼬리에 돛처럼 펼쳐지는 독특한 능선(세일핀)을 가지고 있어 수영할 때나 몸을 과시할 때 사용한다. 화려한 색감과 웅장한 몸집 때문에 매우 인상적인 외형을 자랑한다.
활동성이 높고 지능도 있는 편이라 관찰하는 재미가 크지만, 넓은 공간과 물·육지가 모두 갖춰진 사육 환경이 필요해 숙련된 사육자들이 주로 기르는 종이다. 자연에서는 잎, 과일, 꽃을 비롯해 곤충이나 작은 수생 생물을 먹기도 하는 잡식성에 가깝다. 높은 습도와 강한 UVB 조명이 필수적이다.
적절한 환경에서 사육하면 몸길이가 1미터 이상 자라며, 10~20년 정도 장수할 수 있다. 용(드래곤)을 연상시키는 외형과 역동적인 행동 덕분에 파충류 컬렉션의 중심이 되는 종으로 손꼽힌다.
