Hooper Strait Lighthouse Tour 3D 180 VR

This 3D 180 VR experience provides a tour of 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse, which is located on Navy Point within the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) in St. Michaels, Maryland. The lighthouse was originally built in 1879 to light the way for boats passing through the shallow, dangerous shoals of Hooper Strait, a thoroughfare for boats bound from the Chesapeake Bay across Tangier Sound to Deal Island or places along the Nanticoke and Wicomico Rivers. This video takes you around the lighthouse to see spectacular views of Miles River before going inside to tour the living quarters of the Hooper Strait lighthouse keepers.
