I shot this incredibly creepy video of my tarantula while it was molting. It is definitely freaky but also completely fascinating. I hope you enjoy it!

The spider is a pamphobeteus mascara, also known as the mascara bird eater. This one is still very young but it can grow up to 9 inches in diameter making it one of the largest spiders on the planet.

The video was shot on a Sony A6300 and edited with Davinci Resolve and ShotCut and turned into a side-by-side file using Owl3D.
