Our journey continues towards the magnificent Malbork Castle, one of the most impressive medieval fortresses in Europe. From the river, we can admire its enormous brick walls and towers, as well as other historic buildings and landmarks that make Malbork such a special place.

A medieval masterpiece: Construction of Malbork Castle began in the 13th century, when the Teutonic Knights built a fortress that would eventually become one of the largest brick castles in the world.

The capital of the Teutonic Order: In 1309, Malbork became the headquarters of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order, making the castle an important centre of political and military power in medieval Europe.
