Discovering Thailand's neighbor, Laos, is an enjoyable train journey. Beginning at Bangkok's Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, we traveled overnight in very comfortable sleeper cars. Waking up at the border and stepping into a luxury van, our group of friends enjoyed drinks, delicious food, and the stunning scenery of Laos.
