Japan Yamagata Zao Ropeway

You will take two connecting ropeways to reach the Yamagata Zao Summit Station. Along the way, you can see the "snow monsters" (ice-covered trees). The ropeways are usually packed—with four-hour waits being the norm—and the vast majority of passengers are from overseas.
