VR 360° Invisible drone - Modoc National Forest - Cinder Butte tour

In this video, you will see the stunning scenery of the Callahan Flow in Modoc County, California, near the border of Oregon. The Callahan Flow was formed by an eruption from Cinder Butte about 1,200 years ago. It is part of the Lava Beds National Monument, which has the largest concentration of lava tube caves in the United States.

Note the light dusting of snow contrasting the dark 'A'ā (pronounced "ah-ah") lava flow!

I used an invisible drone and Litchi to plan and execute a flight plan over the lava field and capture the footage. An invisible drone is a drone that has a 360-degree camera mounted on top and bottom, creating a seamless view of the surroundings. I used the Insta360 Sphere camera with the 5.7K resolution mounted on a DJI Air 2s. You can watch this video in VR360 mode by using a VR headset, a smartphone, or a computer. You can also drag the screen or move your device to change the perspective and explore the landscape.
