Mt. Toolbrunup is the the second highest mountain of the Stirling Ranges and located some 90 km north of the City of Albany on Western Australia's south coast. The steep track to the summit first follows a narrow valley with thick vegetation, then crosses a number of scree fields below the imposing south face before leading straight up the summit pyramid via some short gullies and an exposed traverse. The 360 views from the summit (which is a 'proper summit' at that with steep drop-offs on all sides) are truly stunning!
