Locronan is a French commune, located in the department of Finistere in the Brittany region.
The important architectural heritage of Locronan, preserved very early on, has enabled the village to be a member of the network of small towns of character. Locronan is also today awarded the label of the most beautiful villages in France, awarded by an independent association aiming to promote the tourist assets of small French towns with a rich heritage of quality. Around the church, the roofs of the village are works of art. From its heyday, the village has retained a central paved square adorned with a well, the vast Saint-Ronan church, Renaissance granite houses.
