杭州西-德清,中国高铁商务座
Today, I experienced the high-speed rail business class from Hangzhou West Station to Deqing Station in Zhejiang, China. The journey was only 14 minutes, with a ticket price of 64 RMB, approximately 9 USD. Hangzhou West Station is a newly built, modern high-speed rail hub with a beautiful architectural design. The station has two business-class lounges, and currently, one is open. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, offering snacks, drinks, tea, and coffee. There are various seating zones with different sofa types, as well as an in-lounge restroom, which is very convenient. The staff were warm and attentive, providing free escort services for both departure and arrival. Before boarding, they checked my ticket in advance and guided me directly to the gate.
The train I took was traveling from Fuzhou to Beijing, with egg-shell style business class seats. In Car 1, there were five business seats, offering privacy and comfort. Since I boarded around lunchtime, I received a complimentary meal: a lunch box valued at 40 RMB (about 6 USD) and an egg drop soup worth 6 RMB (about 1 USD). Business class passengers also receive extra snacks, free drinks, and a complimentary travel kit including headphones, an eye mask, and earplugs. The seats can recline fully flat at the push of a button, ensuring maximum comfort. Though the trip lasted only 14 minutes, the experience was truly top-notch.
