Giant Kites Right Above Your Head — XI International Kite Festival in Łeba, Poland 2026 | 360° VR Drone Flight Over the Baltic Beach

Stand on the beach in Łeba, Poland — and look straight up. That is where this festival actually happens.

At the XI International Kite Festival (Beach A, Łeba, 28–30 August 2026) teams from all over the world filled the Baltic sky with huge inflatable creatures: dragons, tigers, bees, frogs. On a flat screen you only ever see a slice of it. In 360° you are standing under the whole sky, turning your head while the creatures drift over you — the sea on one side, the dunes and the crowd on the other.

I flew an FPV drone with a 360° camera right in between the kites — a point of view nobody at the festival can have, not even the pilots holding the lines.

How to watch:
• Put the headset on, stand still and LOOK UP — the best part of this video is above your head.
• Then turn around: the Baltic Sea, the beach, the crowd and the kite lines going up are all around you.
• Play it full length as a calm “be there” experience, not just as a spectacle.
