It's time for the monthly recap of the weather in Boston!

June began with with an Arctic Blast that kept temperatures unseasonably low for the first week or so. Then the weather swung to a heat wave for the next week. This cycle continued for the rest of the month, with alternating patterns of heat waves and Arctic Blasts every week. June ended with some wicked foggy days, and then an intense heat wave, seeing temperatures climb near 100 degrees!

We'll see what's in store for July as the high pressure system continues to stay parked for the next couple of weeks. The area is entering a drought because there hasn't been any substantial rain for months now...
