The Gillem Bluff is a basaltic lava flow located in the Lava Beds National Monument in California, USA. It originated from the Fleener Chimneys portion of the park around 2,000 to 8,000 years ago, and is considered an aa flow, as it has a blocky, uneven surface. The lava that extruded from the volcano’s many vents ranged from iron-rich basalt to silica-rich rhyolite and
