The Monkey’s Paw — a shadow-puppet ghost story | VR180 3D

You have a seat in the third row of a little Victorian theatre. The curtain rises, and behind a glowing paper screen the lamps are lit: W. W. Jacobs' "The Monkey's Paw" (1902), played as real shadow puppetry, jointed cut-paper figures and coloured lamps behind the scrim. The shadows swell and soften as the puppeteers carry them toward the light; the lamps swing, gutter and go out. Three wishes, a knock at the door. Some things do not stay on the paper. Eight minutes; headphones on, lights off. Silhouettes cut from AI paintings in the manner of Lotte Reiniger; the voice and the sounds of the house made with ElevenLabs; staged and filmed in Unity. Sudden loud sounds and flashing light. #halloween #ghoststory #shadowpuppets
