The latest DeoVR update is now live on Meta Quest, Pico and Apple Vision Pro. It adds subtitles, introduces a new 6DoF distance control on Quest and improves Multiuser rooms. The update also speeds up app launch and fixes several playback and stability issues.

What’s new
- Subtitles. Watch supported videos with subtitles in DeoVR. Select a language in the player settings, and DeoVR will remember your choice for the next videos, including videos opened from Drive.
- 6DoF distance slider. On Quest, you can keep the video fixed in your space instead of having it follow your head, creating a more natural and lifelike view.
- Live participant counter. Multiuser rooms now show the number of participants currently in the room.
Improvements
- Faster app launch.
- Photo quality is now remembered between photos.
Bug fixes
- Drive videos no longer fail to open on the first attempt after launch.
- Maximum zoom no longer moves the viewer outside the sphere in 360° videos.
- Video dragging no longer stops when the player UI hides.
- Multiuser chat messages no longer disappear after the app goes to the background on Quest.
- Fixed a crash when opening Drive on Pico 4 Ultra.
- Fixed a Quest crash when the app was running in the background.
Apple Vision Pro
- The UI now repositions itself correctly after recentering with the Digital Crown.
