Brand New Creator Contest: If You Were Here
“If You Were Here” invites creators to produce a VR experience that makes the viewer feel truly present and emotionally seen.
This contest challenges you to create a moment where the viewer feels:

🎥 How to Make the Viewer Feel “Seen”
In your video, the viewer should feel that someone in the scene is aware of their presence —
but how you achieve that is entirely up to you.
There’s no fixed technique.
Every creator has their own way of building connection.
It might come through a glance, a gesture, a line of dialogue…
or something completely unexpected —
something only you would imagine.
What matters is the feeling —
that moment when the viewer senses:
“I am here…
and I am seen.”
“I am here” is spatial immersion —
the sense of stepping into another world.
“I am seen” is emotional immersion —
the sense of being noticed, acknowledged, connected.
Together, they create the kind of VR experience people never forget.

🎬 Video Requirements
- Format: VR180, VR360, Side-by-side 3D and flat 2D videos
- Length: At least 3 minutes
Goal
Create a VR video that makes the viewer forget they’re watching and instead feel seen, remembered, and present.
Prize:
- 🥇 1st Place (1 Winner): $3,000
- 🥈 2nd Place (1 Winner): $1,500
- 🥉 3rd Place (1 Winner): $1,000
- 4th–10th Place: $100 each
Prize Limitation
Entrants may submit multiple videos; however, each entrant can win only one prize.
If multiple submissions from the same entrant qualify for different prizes, only the highest-ranking video will be awarded.

Submission Period:
Dec 15–Jan16, 2025
Upload your videos on DeoVR. The more “likes” you receive, the higher your chances of entering the final judging.
Top 10 Finalists:
Selected based solely on the number of likes from DeoVR users during the submission period. All Top 10 finalist videos will also be published on the PICO Video platform for final judging.
Final Judging:
Conducted by a panel of 10 creators selected from the DeoVR Creator Community, combined with the number of likes from PICO Forum users.

Jan 28, 2026

Prizes will be delivered within one month after the winner announcement

Scoring System
- Each judge scores every finalist’s video on a 10-point scale.
- Final Score = DeoVR likes + PICO Forum likes + judge points.
- 10 DeoVR creator judges will review all finalist videos from a professional perspective.
