We want you to capture the beauty of your life and share your journey with the world through the immersive lens of VR.
Collaborate! Invite your friends or family to join your video as hosts or guides and document your shared moments and interactions in VR.
Ideas for VR content submissions
The theme is Journey of Life so feel free to interpret that however you like! Here are some potential ideas:
- Visiting a beautiful scenic spot
- Sharing captivating times from your daily life
- Preparing for Christmas and New Year
- Special vacations that the world should see
- Any of life’s more amazing moments
Contest prizes:
- 1st Prize: $1,000 USD (one winner)
- 2nd Prize: QooCam 3 Ultra (worth $599, one winner)
- 3rd Prize: QooCam EGO (worth $369, two winners)
- 4th Prize: QooCam 3 (worth $349, two winners)
What we need from you: create and submit your VR video entry correctly
- Video Content:
- Submit original VR videos that are at least 3 minutes long (longer is better!)
- Passthrough (PT) and non-PT formats are supported
- Host Presence: Include a host in the video to appear on screen and engage with the audience
- Video Format: Ensure the video is in 3D, VR180 or VR360
- Category Tag: Tag your video using the "Journey of Life" category when you upload. Only videos published on or after 13 Dec will be counted in the contest
- Submission Note: Clearly mark your entry with "Create with DeoVR" in the description
Evaluation Criteria:
- Ranking by Likes: Videos will be ranked based on the number of likes they receive during the contest period (from upload to January 20, 2025).
- Winner Selection: The video with the most likes will win the contest.
Competition timeline
Submit your videos from December 13, 2024. The competition runs until January 20, 2025.
The like count for each video will be tallied from the date of upload until January 20, 2025.
We will announce the winner on January 24, 2025 and the prizes will be distributed starting February 10, 2025. Please note that camera prizes cannot be shipped to India at this time.
