Welcoming Winter: An early airbrush/brush painting from 1978. There is a crystalline Universe of sparkling galactic wonder to be seen when you look at a snow surface in a particular 3D way and realize the depth of space in the way each snow crystal glints as if distant stars, some were closer and others further away. I always see infinity in those sunlit patches and just love the sensation of clarity and wonderment!
