Malmö Konsthall begins spring with a large exhibition by Malmö artist Leif Holmstrand. In her art, Holmstrand combines traditional needlework with a fascination for horror films and burlesque popular culture. In the works, which refer both to his own family history, mental illness, trans identity, drag and gay culture, he gives a visual form to the chaotic in large-scale sculptures and performance. The exhibition brings together a large number of works and also includes Holmstrand's artistic reference library with works by artists who inspired him.
