Japan Sendai Tsutsujigaoka Park

Tsutsujigaoka Park is said to have begun when Tsunamura, the fourth lord of the Sendai domain, planted over 1,000 trees, including weeping cherry trees, which he brought back from Kyoto.The weeping cherry tree, which is about 280 years old, has been designated as a preserved tree.
