Day 8 in Dushanbe, and today the motorcycle stays parked. It’s +36°C, so I’m exploring the city on foot — and briefly by boat.
My first stop is the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni. My mother studied here many years ago and asked me to film it for her.
Then I rent a boat on Kuli Javonon, or Youth Lake, which we knew as Komsomol Lake. Finally, I head into the shade of the Botanical Garden, where I happen to capture a Tajik wedding.
