This 3D 180 VR experience takes you to the Albert Einstein Memorial Statue, a bronze figure that was created by Robert Berks and is currently on display at the southwest corner of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) near the National Mall in Washington DC. Unveiled in 1979 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Einstein, the statue holds a tablet that sketches out three of his most important scientific contributions: the photoelectric effect, the theory of general relativity, and the equivalence of energy and matter. The statue weighs approximately 4 tons and is 12 feet in height.
