Longhua Modern Tram is the first completed and operational tram line in Longhua District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It opened on October 28, 2017, with a total length of 11.724 kilometers and 20 stations. The entire demonstration line of the tram is powered by on-board supercapacitors, without the need for overhead contact systems. Passengers can take advantage of their boarding and alighting time to quickly complete charging within 30 seconds at the platform. After one charge, they can travel continuously for 4 kilometers on a straight plane section, and then charge again when they reach the next platform, repeating this process.
