Scotland’s Entire Coastline – S1e2a: Carsethorn to Southerness Lighthouse
Welcome back to Scotland’s Entire Coastline in 360° – Part 2a. Part 2b will be published soon!
Today we’re flying from Carsethorn to the Southerness Lighthouse, following the quiet sweep of the Solway and the wide open sands that shape this forgotten stretch of Dumfries & Galloway.
Starting above Carsethorn – a tiny Scottish coastal hamlet with one road, one pub, and a whole lot of history – we rise into the sky and follow the shoreline as it curves south toward the sentinel at Southerness. Along the way:
• narration and exposition on the area
• stunning low-tide sandbars and shifting channels
• the lighthouse standing watch over the Firth
• and a real sense of how wild, quiet and untouched this coastline truly is.
If you enjoy these cinematic coastline flights, hit Subscribe, drop a comment, and join me next week for Part 3 as we continue Scotland’s entire coastline — one flight at a time.
Thanks for watching. Let’s go.
