Luohan Ding in Fuzhou is located in the Beifeng Mountain area of Jin'an District, with an altitude of about 900 meters. It is a well-known natural viewing spot in the suburbs of Fuzhou. Surrounded by rolling green peaks, the vegetation coverage rate here exceeds 90%, presenting different scenery in four seasons: azaleas blooming all over the mountains in spring, cool breeze in the bamboo sea in summer, maple leaves as red as fire in autumn, and rime-covered branches in winter. The sea of clouds at dawn is particularly renowned.​
There remains a site of an ancient temple from the Ming Dynasty in the mountains. It is said that a eminent monk once practiced here, hence the name "Luohan Ding" (Arhat Summit). Climbing to the top, one can overlook the panoramic view of Fuzhou urban area. When night falls, the lights of thousands of households and the starry sky shine together, creating an especially charming scene. In recent years, an ecological trail has been built here, making it a paradise for hikers to enjoy both the wildness of mountains and forests and the tranquility of the "urban backyard".​
