As its name suggests, the Hankyu-Hanshin Connecting Deck Umeda New Pedestrian Bridge connects the Hankyu Umeda Main Store, the Hanshin Umeda Main Store, and JR Osaka Station.

This time, we started from the footbridge near the Midosuji South Exit of Osaka Station,
after looking at the crosswalk at ground level for a while, walked toward the Hanshin Umeda Main Store,
and were positioned near the center of the main street, looking west.

This area, centered around JR Osaka Station, is the gateway to Kansai,
a shopping district with commercial facilities such as Hankyu and Hanshin,
and a leading business district lined with skyscrapers.
