Hongcun, located in Anhui Province, China, is one of the masterpieces of Huizhou architecture and one of the best-preserved examples of its kind. It was founded during the Southern Song Dynasty in the Shaoxing period, initially formed by a family named Wang who migrated to the area. Situated amidst a geographical setting of mountains on three sides, facing southwards, Hongcun is surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Its architectural layout embodies the harmony between humans and nature, with water being its central theme. Within the village, there is the shimmering South Lake, the tranquil Moon Pond, and a meandering water canal that runs through the entire village, imparting an elegant and dynamic atmosphere to the area.
宏村位于中国安徽省，是徽派建筑的杰作之一，也是保存最完整的徽式建筑群之一。始建于南宋绍兴年间，最初由一户姓汪的家族迁居而成。村子坐落于三面环山、坐北朝南的地理环境中，被山水环绕，景色宜人。宏村的建筑布局体现了天人合一、尊重自然的理念，水是其核心主题。村内有南湖波光粼粼，月沼平静如镜，还有一条水圳贯穿整个村落，为此地带来了秀逸灵动的气质。
