Iron Age hillfort Tre'r Ceiri, North Wales, UK
Cloud inversion over Tre'r Ceiri, North Wales The Iron Age and Romano-British hillfort of Tre’r Ceiri on the Llŷn Peninsula here in North Wales. It is one of the best-preserved hillforts in Britain and a protected ancient monument. On that day we had a nearly full cloud inversion coming from inland which stopped as soon as it reached the coast. Pretty spectacular to be up there at a moment like that - at about 450m above sea level.
