Open Air Museum of Folk Building, Kourim Czech Republic

The Open-air Museum in Kouřim is the only museum in the Czech Republic focusing on various ethnographic regions. The Museum houses collections of cultural heritage of vernacular architecture from Central, East and West Bohemia. The Museum offers an immediate comparison of the various regional types of vernacular architecture from the 17th to the 19th century. Fourteen houses and farming buildings can be found here, as well as lesser architectural objects. The Museum offers ethnographic and other accompanying programs throughout the year.
