The longest building in Asia

This is the teaching building of Henan University of Chinese Medicine, and it is also the longest single building in the whole of Asia. Stretching 736 meters in full length, the towering edifice lies by the lake like a giant curved bow, or a gluttonous snake sprawling out in the sun after gorging itself—netizens have playfully dubbed it "China's version of a lying skyscraper".
Its design concept deeply integrates the culture of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), traditional Chinese philosophy and the functional demands of modern architecture, with the core tenets of "cultural empowerment, functional integration, and harmony between man and nature". The building combines all teaching and research functions including classrooms, laboratories and administrative offices, accommodating 15,000 people for study and research at the same time. It maximizes the use of land resources while reserving ecological space on campus, thus improving the efficiency and convenience of space utilization.
