Welcome! In this video I take you to the **former NATO/British ammunition depot Brüggen-Bracht**, hidden deep inside the **Brachter Wald**, close to the German-Dutch border. Everything is filmed in **full 360 degrees** using the **AntiGravity A1**, allowing you to freely look around and explore the site at your own pace.
## 🕰️ A brief history of the depot
Known as **Munitionsdepot Brüggen-Bracht**, this site was developed after World War II and operated by the **British Army of the Rhine**. From **1948 until 1996**, it became **one of the largest ammunition depots in Europe**.
The depot was strategically located near **RAF Brüggen-Elmpt** and featured its own road and rail infrastructure for transporting ammunition. After the Cold War ended, the depot was closed and later transformed into part of the **Brachter Wald nature reserve**.
