Take a Peak 46, Part A
I have wanted to hike up Black Butte for many years. It never happens because it is a long drive from just about anywhere. My friend and I decided to take the drive. I'm glad we did because it was one of the best views of various mountains I've seen. There is an awesome deck with a panoramic view and mountain identifying signs. Since I was with a friend I didn't do my normal talking to the camera along the hike. I didn't record the entire hike because the view didn't change greatly, and it would have made a super long video. First of two parts.
I switched from shooting in Log color to HDR because I wanted to capture sky and sun with smoother gradations. I created a new LUT in DaVinci Resolve to combat the awful skin tones and overly contrasty footage straight from the Insta360 One R.
This is a 360° video, so you can click and drag around inside the video or use a VR device to look in any direction - up, down, and side-to-side. Select the highest streaming resolution the platform allows for best viewing experience. Desktop browser is better than on a smartphone due to mobile app limitations.
Camera: Insta360 One R
Microphone: Sony PCM-M10
Software: Shotcut, DaVinci Resolve, Capture One, Affinity Photo, Audacity
