In the rolling landscapes of eastern Skåne, you’ll find Skånska Järnvägar (SkJ) – a heritage railway where history still steams down the tracks.

Here, vintage trains take you on a scenic 13-kilometer journey between Brösarp, Ravlundabro, Vitaby, and Sankt Olof. This line was once part of the old Ystad–Brösarp Railway (YBJ), and today it offers travelers the chance to experience the golden age of rail travel.

But the adventure doesn’t end there. The museum railway association also owns another 13 kilometers of track stretching from S:t Olof to Gärsnäs – a route first built as the Gärsnäs–S:t Olof Railway.

Every ride is more than just a trip – it’s a living museum on wheels. The sights, the sounds, the smell of coal and steam… all come together to transport you, not just across Skåne, but back in time.
