Lujiazui is located in the middle of Shanghai's urban area, on the banks of the Huangpu River in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It covers an area of 31.78 square kilometers.

In Lujiazui, there are modern building groups such as the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Shanghai Jinmao Tower. By the river is the site of the old dock.
The Xiaolujiazui scenic area in Lujiazui and the Jinmao Tower and the observation deck of the Shanghai World Financial Center within its territory are all national 4A-level tourist attractions, while the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower is among the first batch of national 5A-level tourist attractions.
